Slowly Does It

We are both working over tonight after work as we need to finish a little early on Friday, but more on that later in the week. So to avoid having to wait for dinner after work I decided to cook it in the slow cooker over night, chill it this morning and then it will simply be a case of reheating it tonight and cooking up a few vegetables to serve with it.

The it in question is a lovely venison casserole, slow cooked too perfection. We awoke this morning to the amazing smell of casserole wafting through the house. Divine. I could have almost delved in this morning, but no. I was good and made do with a couple of slices of seeded granary toast covered in low fat cottage cheese.

Now all we have to do is a long days work to reap the rewards at the end of it.
