The Lincolnshire Coast
Another day waiting for the alternator so we headed to the coast.
A quiet Skegness beach.
The Jolly Fisherman.
Some of the Skegness Yacht Club boats at Gibraltor Point.
A walk around the salt marshes.
Looking out to sea. I wonder how many people have sat on this bench watching us crossing the Wash?
Heading back across the marsh.
Lovely autumnal colours.
A brief pit stop in Horncastle on the way home.
Lovely pub in the town centre.
And a lovely church.
Away at Last
Wednesday afternoon and we break free from the marina at last.
A quick jaunt into Lincoln to stock up and check all is well and we stumble across this Delorean.
Heading through Saxilby in the rain.
A lovely sea food salad to celebrate being on the move again. Let the holiday begin at long last.
