As a new day dawns in Burton Waters it has occurred to me that something is missing.
Where is the snow?
Just 50 miles from snowbound Sheffield and there is not a trace of the white stuff.
Not that I am complaining. The relatively mild weather here means we can crack on with some outside jobs.
I obviously spoke too soon as it is now snowing, heavily!
