Yesterday we fitted new carbon monoxide and smoke detectors to Naughty-cal.
We had become increasingly aware that the smoke detector on our previous dual unit wasnt as sensitive as it once was. So the decision was made to replace it with separate units.
It is of course better to be Safe then sorry where fire and carbon monoxide are concerned.
The new units look far smarter than the old one and we now have a read out of the carbon monoxide levels at any given time.
It was interesting to watch the level climb as I cooked dinner last night. But it never got anywhere near dangerous levels as you would expect in a well ventilated boat.
