On Sunday some friends of our who own a farm in Lincolnshire paid us a visit as we were finishing off the boat and brought us a pair of pheasants. This time they had been gutted and plucked!
So last night we had them for dinner, simply roasted with a little salt and pepper and served up with roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, roast parsnip, roast carrots and some fresh broccoli.
They were quite simply delicious with succulent tasty flesh and crispy golden skin. The perfect mid week evening meal for a cold winters evening.
