We had a slow run from Newark to Gunthorpe yesterday thanks to the river being very busy and lots of newbies out and about.
Hazelford Lock in particular took an absolute age due to the boat at the front of the lock having problems holding onto their ropes.
But yesterday we had no rush. Today is a different story as we have to be back at Cromwell Lock and onto the Tidal Trent for between midday and 1pm so we are set to make a move in the pouring rain very shortly.
