We were pondering what to make for dinner last night and whilst rustling around in the freezer I found some haggis. But fed up of plain old haggis, neaps and tatties I decided to do something just a little bit different with it.
So for this simple recipe fry diced onions, swede and potato until softening, then add the haggis and a splash of Hendersons Relish and fry until warmed through and then add a small amount of gravy just enough to wet up the mixture but not make it too runny. Finally roll the mixture in extra light puff pastry and bake in the oven for half an hour at two hundred degrees.
Served here with smoked paprika wedges and a selection of winter vegetables.
