Delivered On Time

So last night we delivered the first of our Christmas presents. With all the talk in the news about parcels being delivered late it was nice to know that we have delivered the first of ours on time, in fact for the first time in a long time in plenty of time. No last minute rushing around this year!

I have the lovely task of wrapping yet more gifts tonight whilst Liam is out on his works Christmas party. Any excuse from him not to do the wrapping. But with the gifts wrapped we will then have a couple more to deliver tomorrow. This being organised really does pay off. By the middle of next week we will have all gifts wrapped and delivered to the relevant homes and then we can sit back and relax.

After last nights delivery in the cold, wet December rain we sat down to a bowl of homemade spiced butternut squash soup with some crusty, warm bread rolls. This is what Christmas is about, food.
