What Rain?

We really were spoiled with the weather yesterday. When we went to bed on Saturday evening the forecast had been for rain all day on Sunday, but the rain cleared over night on Saturday and we had wall to wall clear blue skies all day and a really very mile day. A brilliant end to what has been a nice weekend afloat.

We didn't get far by any means with a couple of nights spent in Saxilby and a day in Lincoln, but it was nice to see Sydney settling into being on the boat and yesterday made his weekend when he was playing most of the day with Jack, our friends Jackapoo. Something tells us that these two will become best of buddies as time marches on.

We finished off the weekend sat in the sunshine in Woodcocks beer garden, where we had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch and a couple of drinks before taking a stroll along the river bank, then heading back to the boat to get ready for work this morning.
