Will we be in or out of the water? That is the burning question for this weekend.
We know that works were well underway on the boat at the middle of the week but don't know if they have or will be finished in time for her to be launched and taken back around to our mooring this afternoon.
I suppose only time will tell.
We have a couple of plans prepared to cover every eventuality. We have jobs we can finish if the boat is ashore and plans afoot for a weekend afloat if she is in the water. Either way we will still be having a very boaty weekend.
I'm going for her to be back in the water. Got an even chance of being right!
ReplyDeleteWith regard to fridge freezers, I think they are the pits. We have never had any warning that one was about to fail, and they don't seem to last many years these days. On the other hand we have a chest freezer in the garage that is over 30 years old and still OK - fingers crossed. I hope that I haven't tempted fate there :( I think the change in chemical in the cooling system has something to do with it.
This is the second fridge freezer we will have gone through in 10 years. They really are rubbish.
ReplyDeleteIt will be the washing machine next. That was six months behind the fridge last time!
Well, don't you put mooring ropes in yours? Or am I thinking of someone else ... Not putting boaty things in ours didn't save ours though. Actually I can't remember what was the matter with the last one, and it was only last year.
ReplyDeleteWe do put the mooring ropes through it once a year but that shouldn't hurt it. They are only like shoe laces!
