Another Change of Plans

We were supposed to be having visitors to the boat this coming Sunday but we have decided to postpone their visit as it will be Sydney's first weekend on the boat and we want to make sure that he settles in before we start having people to visit.

 Whilst he is brilliant at home and when we go out anywhere he is still being troublesome at home and we just don't know how he will react to being on the boat for any length of time. Better to let him settle in first we think. There will be plenty of time for visitors later in the year.

    The weekend we got Tilly, I postponed picking her up until the day my brother and his family would be on their way home after a weekend with us. A totally new home with strangers and one that rocked at that was one thing, add into the mix an excited 9 year old and a rather loud Australian. Tilly eventually came out from behind the sofa late afternoon and started to purr. I think you are wise to break Sydney in gently.

    He was brilliant at the weekend when we had guests staying at home. Didn't bother him in the slightest. He doesn't know the boat yet though so that is a different matter.
