Witham Wandering Part 2

Dog Dyke to Boston

Off down the series of long straights on a much more cloudy day.

Approaching Antons Gowt with the sailing club out in force.

Lots of different yachts out sailing.

Our first glimpse of the Stump.

Tucked up on the visitors moorings.

Boston to Kirkstead Bridge to Bardney Village

A quick walk around Boston to do a spot of shopping. A high tide in progress as the water had breached the starboard bank.

Back up river.

Under Tattershall Bridge.

Unusually quiet moorings at Kirkstead Bridge.

A walk into Woodhall Spa to stretch the legs.

Bardney Village to Lincoln to Burton Waters

Past the long term moorings at Bardney.

Heading towards Lincoln under threatening skies.

Tucked up back on our mooring after a great few days away.

Total Miles 80 Miles
Total Locks 4 Locks.

Although not our usual cruise for this time of year it made a change to not be rushing around or dictated by the tides. We could come and go as we pleased which suited us nicely.
