Wells next the Sea 2015 - Part 3

Day Five
Wells next the Sea

Wells High Street, a once bustling street full of shops and pubs, now private residences.

 Alpaca trekking.

 Low water in the creeks.

 Boats aground in the creek.

 Wells fishing fleet.

Our little flotilla on the visitor pontoon. From left to right, Total Angel, Chloe's Mad Moments, Devocean and Naughty-Cal.

A big catch for one of the fishing boats.

Day Six
Wells next the Sea to Boston to Antons Gowt.

 Naughty-Cal waiting to head home.

With low neaps tides keeping the water away we followed the Harbour Vessel Frank T closely to stay in the channel.

 Not much water here!.

Or here. The channel marker is not even afloat!.

Finally out at sea and in deeper water.

 Devocean on the Norfolk coast.

 In the wash.

There were several large vessels in the Wash today.

Including this one heading out of Boston. The channel doesnt feel so big when you have to share it with these guys.

Tabs Head marking the start of the river.

The Boston Pilot boat heading back to the docks.

 Heading up the Tidal Witham.

Cruising through Boston.
