The Fading of Summer

It hardly seems like two minutes ago that summer started and what a summer it has been. But right now the nights are definitely drawing in and the mornings are certainly getting darker.

A real autumnal feel has taken to the air.

It will soon be time for some boaters to pack their boats away for the winter leaving the waterways with a much quieter feel with less hustle and bustle.

It is a great time of year to be boating. We will be treated to some spectacular sun rises and sunsets and with the heating quietly ticking away we will be tucked up warm to watch them as summer gently fades away and gives way to autumn and all of her vibrant colours.
