Well we didn’t manage to get much done this weekend. The sum
total of the work we completed was sucking the bilge water out with the wet
vac.
It didn’t start well when the new toilet didn’t arrive on
time so we decided to put off the rest of the jobs until it arrived. As luck
would have it, it arrived yesterday but we won’t be installing it this coming
weekend as we have a BBQ to attend. So it looks like the weekend after will be
a busy weekend of odd jobs to make sure Naughty-Cal is ready for her outing
over the bank holiday weekend.
On the plus side we had a very nice relaxing weekend. On
Saturday we had a nice cruise to Torksey and during the evening had dinner in
the White Swan, steak pie of course before retiring back to a friend’s boat for
evening drinks which for some turned into morning drinks!!
On Sunday we pottered back into Lincoln and spent the day
chilling out at anchor in Brayford Pool before heading back to the marina to
enjoy slow cooked garlic and rosemary lamb with sweet potatoes and asparagus. A
great way to end a great weekend on the water.
